I’m thrilled to announce that “Sora-iro Utility,” the first original work by Yostar Pictures themed around golf, is set to become a TV anime series!
What is “Sora-iro Utility”?
“Sora-iro Utility” is a youth golf story revolving around a first-year high school student, Minami, who has just started playing golf, and her encounters with fellow golfers, Haruka and Ayaka. Originally, a single-episode short anime was broadcast on TOKYO MX in 2021, and now, a TV anime series production has been decided.
I believe it will be a heartwarming work that leaps into the vibrant world discovered through golf. Whether you have experience with golf or not, it’s sure to be enjoyable!
Cast & Staff
The main characters, the three girls, will continue to be voiced by the same cast from the short anime: Miyu Takagi, Yurina Amami, and Ayasa Goto. These voice actresses will showcase their diverse charms through golf-related talks and singing.
Yostar Pictures will continue the production, with Kengo Saito serving as the director and character designer. Director Saito, who is fond of golf, is expected to fully express the allure of golf in this series.
Latest Information
The broadcast date and time for the TV anime series have yet to be announced, but updates are expected to be shared periodically through the official website and official X (formerly Twitter). Additionally, a booth at the Japan Golf Fair 2024 held at Pacifico Yokohama Exhibition Hall has been confirmed. The event may feature talks shows with the cast and staff, as well as merchandise sales.
