What is “Mushoku Tensei”?
“Mushoku Tensei” is an anime series based on the novel by Rifujin na Magonote. It follows the story of a 34-year-old NEET who spends his days holed up in his room, never working or interacting with others, just whiling away the time on games and the internet. One day, he dies in a traffic accident… or so he thought, but the next moment, he finds himself reincarnated as a newborn baby in a world of swords and magic. Now reborn as the young boy Rudeus, he decides to live seriously this time around, using his memories and regrets from his previous life. It’s an epic fantasy that depicts his grand adventures and the trials and encounters he faces. The first season aired in 2021, and the first part of the second season aired in 2023. The series has captivated many fans with its enchanting isekai setting, music, character growth and relationships, and heartwarming everyday interactions.
