The original work is a light novel by Akai Matsuri. It has also been adapted into a manga, and its popularity continues to grow.
Story
High school student Oda Akira is summoned to another world along with his classmates. While all of his classmates are granted cheat abilities, he obtains the seemingly mundane ability of “Assassin” due to his inconspicuous nature.
However, despite being just an “Assassin,” his stats far surpass those of the strongest class, the “Hero” – or so it seems…
Akira begins to suspect the motives of the king who summoned them. He hides his true power and investigates the king’s plot, but is instead framed for a crime and becomes a fugitive.
Vowing revenge against the king, he escapes into the uncharted depths of a labyrinth, where he encounters the elf girl, Amelia…
This is the story of a boy who obtains the power of an “Assassin,” meets an elf girl, and becomes a true “Assassin.”
