Story (official introduction, spoiler-free)
The film is set in the year 2096, about a century after magic became established as real-world technology. Tatsuya Shiba and his younger sister Miyuki
are heading into the winter of their second year in high school—until a letter arrives.
That letter is an invitation to the Yotsuba main family’s New Year gathering (the “Keishunkai”), where the next head of the Yotsuba clan will be named.
When Maya Yotsuba and the branch family heads assemble, a shocking truth is revealed—one that will reshape what the siblings thought they knew.
